The Book Prowler is an online, mail-order and catalogue bookstore…open by appointment only. Located in the beautiful wine country of Sonoma County, it is worth it just for the drive alone (one hour north of San Francisco). Many restaurants, wineries and bookstores abound. We also exhibit at Book Fairs, and post our upcoming dates on our web site. Our stock changes often, so please check our website for newly listed books.  If there is any book in your memory that you want, we can find it for you.  We can also send you a new book at a low cost, including fast shipping.  Just let us know…

“ABOUT”

Oh, wait.  You meant me.  I hate this part.  I always feel like I’m filling out one of those self-evaluations for some job performance/annual review.  Isn’t that my boss’s job?  Oh, right.  I am the boss.  OK: I am married with two daughters, who are almost adults.  I am a Registered Nurse as well as book seller, and have held a variety of positions in the past: emergency dispatcher for police and ambulance, EMT, childbirth assistant (doula), and make-up artist.  This is my best job.  Ever.  (Well, except maybe for the birthing babies bit).
